Exciting Times... More Changes...

        I am SOOO thrilled, beyond excited, and completely overjoyed to announce that me and my family are expecting a new, sweet addition, expected to arrive early June 2012!  This has been a long wait for all of us; and sometimes it still seems surreal that we'll have a new little baby in our home before we know it!

        But of course, this addition to our family means yet another change must occur for Cherie Gailey Photography.  Photography will always be apart of me, and a MUST for my creative outlet.  However, my Family is, and always has been, my number one priority, passion, and love in my life.  When I first started my endevours in Photography I NEVER expected it to take off the way it has.  It has been a wonderful, and humbling experience for me.  I am forever grateful for every single photoshoot I've ever had.  But because I never expected my small business to grow the way it has, I never anticipated it becoming a full time job.  And my business this past year, while WONDERFUL, has certianly become a full time job.

        The news of my pregnancy has made me stop and reflect what I am doing with my life.  While I still want to continue making beautiful memories for all of you (my new found friends)  :),  I find it necessary to greatly cut back on how many photoshoots I do a month.  I, like all of you, don't want to live my life with any regrets.  I don't want to look back and think "Photography was so fun, but I should've spent more time with my children."  We all know these darling kids grow SO stinking fast.  Our time with them while they are still little is so short.    And so, I have made it my priority to make the time to spend with my little growing family.

         Starting January 2012, I will be scheduling photoshoots on Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY.  I will be taking my Maternity leave starting near the end of May through August.  I'll also still be taking time off for the busy Holiday season- mid November through December.   This means spots will be VERY limited in the year 2012.  But please bare with me as these changes will be challenging for me as well.  (Not having a newborn of my own to care for for nearly 5 years (once this little one arrives), will be like completely starting over for me)  LOL.  But truly, I could not be more excited for my bundle of joy to get here!  No changes are being made to my prices at this time.  (So at least one thing will remain the same, right)  ;)  Thank you so much for your love, support, and understanding.  I'm looking forward to continue serving you in the year 2012!

P.S.  It's been a busy Holiday Season, as always, so I haven't been able to post all of the photoshoots I would've liked to.  But here's a darling little Christmas shoot I'd like to share with you, just in time for Christmas... I love and adore this family more than words can say.  They are a great inspiration to me, and such dear friends!  Enjoy...
